Our Flower Design School offers intensive floral design courses that introduce students into the world of the floral designer.

 

The Miami School is open and there’s no place like Miami for learning the art of floral design! At the Miami School of Flower Design, founded by celebrity florist, Michael Gaffney, their students learn a large variety of different floral designs. The Miami school offers top notch design lessons in everything from traditional to contemporary design work is covered during their intensive one week course.  A gorgeous mix of fresh flower and green materials are provided to the students during each day’s class (all materials, containers, tools & flowers are included with the tuition cost), as well as live demonstrations, flower market field trips, instructor assistance and best of all, hands on designing by the students themselves.

The Miami School of Flower Design offers classes in the beautiful, temperate climate of South Florida. Our school is located inside the Berkely Flower Wholesaler offering thousands of gorgeous flower stems every semester for the students to use to create beautiful floral designs. A gorgeous mix of fresh flower and green materials are provided to the students during each day’s class (all materials are included with the tuition cost). Classes include live demonstrations, a tour of the wholesale house with instruction on how to buy wholesale and, best of all, hands on practice design.  The school is close to all major tourist destinations in Miami including galleries, restaurants and boutique shopping .

Michael Gaffney who has been featured on the Hallmark Channel, Today Show and Huffington Post states. In Michael Gaffney’s book ‘Design Star’ there are 100 tips to flower design, but in class there are 1000. Being in class and having that one-on-one access to an instructor is important to learning good design habits and techniques. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
